After you submit the order form, we will reach out to verify your blanket details and confirm your preferred delivery/pickup method. Once your blanket is ready, we will coordinate a digital payment method from the options below:

Every single blanket is completely handmade and crafted to order by Aerilyn. Because each item takes hours of careful hand-looming, please allow a little extra time for her to create your order. Our typical turnaround time is about 1 to 2 weeks, depending on how many orders are ahead of yours on Aerilyn's loom. We will try to be proactive with communications if we expect a delay. We appreciate your patience and your amazing support for our mission!

Because 50% of the proceeds go directly to the Beyond Kids campaign, we primarily arrange local pickups within the Longview area to save on shipping costs. Shipping can be arranged at the buyer's expense. We can work out specific details through email. 

Because each blanket is meticulously hand-loomed with thick, heavy chunky yarn, proper care will keep it soft, fluffy, and looking brand new for years to come!

1. Washing Instructions (Less is More!)

Chunky yarn blankets don't need to be washed frequently. Often, a quick spot-clean or a shake-out is all it needs. When it is time for a full wash:

• Hand Wash (Highly Recommended): Fill a clean bathtub or large sink with cold water and a small amount of mild detergent. Gently submerge the blanket and press the soapy water through it. Do not scrub or wring the yarn harshly.
• Machine Wash (Use Caution): If you must use a washing machine, place the blanket inside a large mesh laundry bag (or a clean pillowcase tied shut). Wash on the Delicate/Gentle cycle using cold water only.

2. Drying Instructions (Never Use High Heat)

• Air Dry Flat (Best Method): Lay the blanket flat on a clean, dry surface or a large towel. Reshape it gently with your hands while damp. Avoid hanging the blanket on a clothesline while soaking wet, as the heavy weight of the water can stretch out the hand-loomed stitches.
• No High Heat: Never put your chunky blanket in a hot dryer! High heat can damage the soft fibers of the yarn or even melt them.

Because this is a 100% hand-loomed item, a yarn end may occasionally pop out after heavy use or washing.

Don't Cut It! There is a method called yarn fusing or the "burn method" that can be used to reattach loose yarn. Do so with caution.
