Meet Aerilyn & Beyond Cozy Creations
It all started when Aerilyn wanted to make a special gift for her mama. She tried learning to crochet, but it just wasn't clicking. After her Nana sent her some video tutorials and supplies, she turned to YouTube to master the art of hand-looming.
As an artist, Aerilyn fell in love with the process of starting with a ball of yarn and ending up with a beautiful, finished blanket in her hands.
Driven by Purpose and Growth
If you ask Aerilyn what she thinks about while working on a blanket, she won't tell you about how hard it is. She’ll tell you she’s thinking, "I finally did it! What should I make next?" She looks for any little mistakes in her work so she can learn from them and make the next blanket even better.
When she heard about a friend who raised money with a lemonade stand for the Beyond Kids building project at Grace Creek Church, she was inspired to use her talents and efforts to help raise funds for the project, too!
Why Beyond Kids?
Aerilyn participated and served in the children's ministries at Grace Creek Church in Longview, TX, so she knows firsthand how important those spaces are. Her goal isn't just to sell blankets; it's to practice joyful service and generosity.
By buying a blanket, you are partnering with a child entrepreneur who wants to make sure local kids have an incredible place to learn about God's love.
50% of the proceeds go to the Beyond Kids building campaign, and the other 50% is invested back into the business to buy supplies for future blankets and to keep this website running.
